I admittedly don't have a great deal of understanding beyond the basics. From the results I've experienced, however, I have to say I have not been impressed with any horoscope I've read or any live reading I've ever had. This might sound harsh, but it seems to be more like the art of being vague and ambiguous in the way you speak so that someone looking for something feels like they find something in those words... doesn't matter what, they find something. I.e. how I can read my horoscope and usually be pretty impressed, then read any random horoscope and still feel like it was written for me... again, I am sure there is something to it, the fundamentals of it (the calander type stuff) but I have personally never experienced anything to make me put great stock in my astrological sign.

I look at this like violence... non-violence is the ultimate goal, yet I know that I would not be calm and preaching non-violence to someone trying to hurt me or someone else. I would be stopping them by any means I had to use. This is unstable ground if you step back and look at language objectively and what it means to lie. Bottom line, It really comes down to intentions I think.
