I love music… listening and creating it. I am just going through life trying to undo the damage done by all the bullshit my head has been filled with growing up. I love creating, but it's hard to keep what I enjoy from turning into 'work'. It's like as soon as you give something a purpose or an agenda it is no longer pure enjoyment, but rather work; a job to complete, a deadline to meet…

The mind has been conditioned to be like a razor that slices the present moment into a past and a future… neither of which are any more real than words on pages in a book or images on your hard drive. The past is what you think happened, and the future is what you think will happen… and we've convinced ourselves that is our true reality. The present moment has become all but forgotten to even exist. The key is to walk the razors edge and live in the 'now'… it's one thing to ramble on about it, and a whole other thing to live it… I am trying.
